My Brazilian look.

I had to attend a memorial service for a dear friend on Saturday, so not much to say about this, except that it was all Brazilian! Thanks to Sarah B. from themprettycolors.com!

It's 2 coats of Impala "verde militar" from the SPFW collection. (I absolutely am in love with this brand!) On my ring finger, I added a layer of Big Universo, "Raio Gama" (Thank you Karina!!!). What I LOVE about this flakie is that it is all blue and purple....there is not a bit of orange or yellow in this one. It is beautiful!

We Wear Pink

I loved this Cult Nails pink so much that I kept it for my "We Wear Pink" base color. Now, it might not look very MEAN to you, but it's perfect for me, today.

Thumb detail......stamped with CG Millennium and using a fimo butterfly.

I decided to take these photos against my DKNY skinny crops, because it was the most "fashionable" thing I could get my hands on quickly....(they are outside drying on the deck!)

Iused fimo flowerf on my pinky, stamped with CG M on the ring and added little (CHEAP) rhinestones. The middle is an orange flower from Cina Pro and pointer is stamped with 2 different Konad butterflies.

Cult Nails ~ Devious Nature

Isn't this pretty? I have seen so many people posting their new Cult Nails polishes, but I feel this gorgeous babe is being left out....Devious Nature is a beautiful medium pink creme with a good dose of blue.
Shade......

Thumb in the sun!

And one last of this beauty in full sun in front of our Rhododendron bush. Did you know that this is the state flower of West Virginia? Well, now you do!

The formula is great, and BTW, this is ONE COAT! (With top coat.) I LOVE the round bottle, too. I am so glad I have this collection ~ to add to the first one....they are available on cultnails.com

Nails for a Cause.

My son's little school (I mean little - pre-K through 8th grade and 160 students!!!) had a mini Relay for Life last Friday. We were unable to attend because Roo was home sick, but I did my nails for the occasion, anyway. I was also supposed to be there to help, but you know, sometimes life has different plans.

This is S-he 301 - a beautiful light pink/purple/shimmer/frost...it's one of my favorites for using as a base for a French mani....I tipped with Rimmel white and dotted with Golden Rose. I used plate m63 for the light overall design with Konad special Grey and the ribbon is from D08. The ribbon is stamped using Konad special Violet.

Carry on, Cancer survivors! We are all fighting with you!

Cherry Blossoms

Here is what I have been wearing since Monday. I love it so much, I didn't even wear PINK on Wednesday, although I was still quite mean....LOL So, the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. was held March 26th - April 10th, and the blossoms are always beautiful!. I haven't been in years, but I think it's something all Americans should do once in a lifetime.......(or visitors, for that matter!)

This is NR, FBL502 (see below) as a base, and stamped with konad white and pink using plate s9, and T25!!! (the symbols are "beauty" on my middle finger and "Life/Destiny" on my ring. Thank you Bless!!!! <3

(OOH! - The elusive Right Hand!!!)

The birds were from plate SR08-1, which I ordered from Nail Art Diva!. It actually is supposed to be used with the "application device" (stamping machine), but I used it with my konad stamper and it was fine. I have the whole NAD kit, but haven't used it, yet! Things are frequently out of stock, so I was stoked to get the bird plate!

My first attempt at "freehand painting" ; I used Color Club "Positively Posh" for the branches, essence "I Love This City" for the blossoms, and white (el-cheapo, no name) for the white dots. This was a bit tougher than I had expected - maybe next time I'll try acrylic paints...but I think it looks OK.

This is what I used as my base - Nature Republic, FBL502 - it is a little holo, but with little sun, it was more like a micro-glitter.

GIGI!!!! Is basking in the sun! *snort*

So, read the information on the Sakura and see if you think I captured the essence of the meaning of these gorgeous flowers!
